New York Lindy Tech
This is not a workshop for everyone. We are specifically interested in working with a select group of people who want to dig into the nitty-gritty of Lindy Hop, improve on a technical level, and work their booties off.As we want to spend a weekend with dedicated and focused students, there is an application process that requires students to send in a video of themselves dancing. We’re doing this to make sure we have a cohesive group of dancers AND that the level stays high.

Dawn Hampton – The Light is On

247089_10150194331535679_5556289_n

I was fortunate to say that Dawn Hampton was a friend.  She was a vital part of the dance community and we need to send her off right.  An evening including a show in her honor, home made soul food and dancing to two of Dawn’s favorite bands for the kind of party Dawn should be at for the low cost of $35 by January 15th is a steal.  Get your tickets now.

A Lindy Memory…

If you haven’t seen this video before, please check it out.  This blog is followed around the world, so please share within your local lindy scene.  This post is in tribute to a dear friend who conceived and co-choreographed/directed this flash mob and introduced me to the Lindy Hop.  If you can, please click through and watch it on YouTube, I’d like to see the view counter rise.  Thanks.
