Plaza Swing Series:  Matt Munisteri
Munisteri leads his band through the swinging music of the 1920s-1940s. Munisteri is a virtuosic guitarist whose album, Still Runnin’ Around in the Wilderness, contains the lost music of Willard Robinson.
Dance lessons are at 6:30, the band starts at 7 pm.
In case of rain, the event will be held on Thursday, July 28.

a 100% swing festival at the FDR Four Freedoms Park that is open to the public. Outdoors on Roosevelt Island:
Travel back in time to the 1940s with swing, jazz, and ballroom hits by Fleur Seule. Led by songbird and band leader Allyson Briggs, Fleur Seule’s 7-piece band plays the music popular in FDR’s time, evoking a bygone era.
From 6:15pm – 7:15pm, learn to swing-dance with lessons for all levels by dancing couple Jerry and Celia Feldman. Then, visitors can practice their new moves from 7:15pm – 9:00pm.

Munisteri leads his band through the swinging music of the 1920s-1940s. Munisteri is a virtuosic guitarist whose album, Still Runnin’ Around in the Wilderness, contains the lost music of Willard Robinson.

a 100% swing festival at the FDR Four Freedoms Park that is open to the public. Outdoors on Roosevelt Island:
Travel back in time to the 1940s with swing, jazz, and ballroom hits by Fleur Seule. Led by songbird and band leader Allyson Briggs, Fleur Seule’s 7-piece band plays the music popular in FDR’s time, evoking a bygone era.
From 6:15pm – 7:15pm, learn to swing-dance with lessons for all levels by dancing couple Jerry and Celia Feldman. Then, visitors can practice their new moves from 7:15pm – 9:00pm.
