The evening begins with a  half-hour dance class with renowned instructor Arturo Perez, and then  the dance floor opens with live 30s and 40s swing music from Flying  Home–playing the music of the King of Swing, Benny Goodman, with  special guest singers each month!

“Harlem’s long crumbling Renaissance Ballroom and Casino will soon be transformed into an 8-story, 134-apartment unit mixed-use building that will include community and retail space…More than 1,400 New Yorkers put their name to an online petition to get a reprieve for the Renaissance Ballroom and Casino.”
